As PEAK|45 grows from five to seven studios, the challenge isn’t simply adding more locations—it’s making sure the team behind them can scale without the member experience slipping. With 65+ staff members increasingly working across locations, NetGym has helped PEAK|45 turn communication and accountability into a growth advantage: communication clarity increased 8×, instructor accountability rose from 3/10 to 8/10, and the business has had zero instructor no-shows on subbed classes since adopting NetGym. The result is a more connected, reliable team that gives leadership greater confidence to grow—while members continue to experience the consistency they expect from PEAK|45.
For Co-Founder Greg Galloway, there’s a lesson in that growth for other operators: “Put the systems in place before you think you need them.” What works with one or two locations and a smaller team can become unmanageable very quickly as you grow. “The right systems create accountability and consistency without adding more management, and give you the confidence to keep growing without sacrificing the experience that got you there.”
The Challenge Before NetGym
PEAK|45 wasn’t looking for a better system because the business wasn’t working. It was experiencing a familiar multi-location growth problem: the processes that work for a smaller operation don’t always scale with the business.
As PEAK|45 added studios and instructors, its team was still coordinating through GroupMe, email, and Google Sheets and Docs. Greg rated the stress of managing subbing and staff coordination a 10/10, while managers were spending more than 10 hours each week on subbing, scheduling, and communication–that’s time not spent on growth and driving revenue.
Communication That Couldn't Keep Up With Growth:
Separate GroupMe channels became harder to manage as instructors began teaching across more locations. Leadership also lacked visibility into whether important updates had actually been read.
Accountability Without Visibility:
Instructors could accept sub requests weeks in advance and later forget them, leaving managers without confidence that a “covered” class was truly covered.
Coverage Complexity Across Locations:
Instructors increasingly worked across studios, but differences in equipment meant not everyone could teach everywhere. Management needed an easier way to control and protect who was eligible for coverage at each location.
Manager Bandwidth Was Becoming a Growth Constraint:
Sub requests could generate a flood of messages and manager tags. With two more studios in the works, PEAK|45 knew that level of manual coordination couldn't scale.
The Member Experience Was on the Line:
When communication or coverage broke down, members felt it through missed classes and uninformed instructors. Staff operations had become part of protecting a consistent PEAK|45 experience.
A System That Couldn't Scale:
With 65+ staff across five locations and two more coming, PEAK|45 needed staff operations that could grow with the business—not create more complexity with every new studio.
When we were opening Sugarhouse, and with it being summer, it was just the nail in the coffin. The amount of messages and tagging of our poor managers going on in GroupMe in one day—I just thought, ‘We can’t continue to do this.’ And then I found out everything else NetGym does on top of solving that pain alone.

Why Greg Chose NetGym
Greg wasn’t looking to add technology for technology’s sake. As PEAK|45 grew, he was already thinking more broadly about professionalizing the business, simplifying its systems, and creating processes that could support a larger organization.
NetGym stood out for three things immediately: ease of mobile use for instructors, time savings, and greater visibility and accountability. PEAK|45 had its team comfortable with NetGym in less than a week.
01 One Place for Team Communication
Instead of relying on fragmented location-based GroupMe channels and email threads, NetGym gives PEAK|45 one place for team updates, with visibility into who has actually read them—turning communication into accountability.
02 Reliable Sub Management
Subbing gives the team a structured process for filling classes, replacing informal coordination with greater visibility around who is responsible for coverage.
03 Smarter Automated Coverage
NetGym helps the team preserve staffing flexibility while accounting for each instructor’s experience and location-specific readiness.
04 Accountability Without Constant Follow-Up
Clearer communication gives managers confidence that everyone is on the same page without requiring constant manual follow-up.
04 Fewer Systems, Better Adoption
NetGym brings communication, subbing, knowledge, and accountability together in one fitness-specific system, making it easier for staff to stay engaged as PEAK|45 grows.
Together, these capabilities reflect NetGym’s broader goal of creating connected, empowered teams where clear communication, reliable coverage, and consistent knowledge share translate into confidence across the business.
“Before NetGym, growth meant adding more communication, more manual follow-up, and more opportunities for things to fall through the cracks.
Now we have much more confidence that our team is informed, classes are covered, and expectations are clear. It has allowed us to focus less on managing day-to-day noise and more on growing PEAK|45 and improving the member experience.”

The Bigger Impact:
Building the Operating System Behind the Growth
For PEAK|45, scaling isn’t simply a matter of opening more studios. It’s about making sure the business behind those studios can scale too.
As the company has grown, Greg has been actively thinking about how PEAK|45 professionalizes its operations—from accounting and payroll systems to SOPs, staff expectations, training, and the way instructors work across locations. His goal isn’t to build more processes for the sake of processes. It’s to create a business where growth doesn’t automatically create more chaos.
Staff operations, now run by NetGym, are an important part of that equation.
An experienced instructor who wants more classes can help support a newer location as its schedule ramps. Managers can see what’s happening across locations without living inside GroupMe. Instructors have clearer responsibility for the classes they run. And important information can reach a 65+ person team with greater visibility into whether it’s actually been seen.
For members, most of that work is invisible—and that’s the point.
They experience the outcome: informed instructors, reliable classes, and a brand that feels consistent and professionally run even as it gets bigger. That reflects NetGym’s broader belief that consistency builds trust and that better staff operations give leaders more freedom to focus on growth, community, and the member experience.
With five studios operating and two more in the works, PEAK|45 now has more than a better way to manage their team. It has a stronger operational foundation for the business it’s becoming.
